Online Kurdish(Kurmanji)Classes
We are offering three courses in the Kurdish language (Kurmanji), for one-to-one and group classes.
Kurmanji is the most widely spoken dialect of the Kurdish language among Kurds. Almost all Kurds in Northern and Western Kurdistan and a significant portion of Kurds in Eastern and Southern Kurdistan speak this dialect. Most of the literary and intellectual works produced in Kurdish are written in the Kurmanji dialect. This dialect of Kurdish is also spoken among diaspora Kurds. While in Northern Kurdistan, Kurmanji is written in the Latin alphabet, in Southern, Eastern, and Western Kurdistan, it is written in the Arabic alphabet.
The time allocated for each level is 36 class hours. Tuition for each level is $150. Classes will be held weekly. Each weekly session will be a total of 3 hours, including the breaks.

Pre-intermediate classes: Tuesdays 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm EST (North America Eastern Time Zone)
Intermediate classes: Saturdays 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm EST (North America Eastern Time Zone)
Beginner Classes
Mondays 7:00 – 10:00 pm EST
At this level, firstly, we teach the Kurdish Latin alphabet. Then, short sentences with the verb to be. Days, months, seasons, numbers, colors, cities, countries, professions, and short introductory dialogs. We teach how to introduce and get to know yourself and your surroundings.
Pre-intermediate classes
Tuesdays 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm EST
At this level, we teach present continuous tense, simple past tense, and simple future tense. Daily life, life at school, home, shopping, phone conversations, clothes, human organs, and dishes.
Intermediate classes
Saturdays 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm EST
At this level, we teach tenses at an advanced level. Some basic and essential adjectives, pronouns, masculinity, and femininity. Fundamental adverbs, and long compound sentences. Everything you need to know to comfortably communicate in Kurdish in everyday life.
